Forecast high will be 30 °C, 86 °F. and low about 25 °C, 77 °F.
Sunrise will occur at 6:46 A.M. and Sunset at 6:01 P.M.
Today: South-Southwesterly, light to gentle, 5 to 12 miles per hour.
Tonight through Sunday midday: North-Northeasterly, gentle to moderate, 8 to 18 miles per hour. Higher in gusts up to 22 miles per hour.
Synopsis: A strong surface low pressure area located Northwest of the local region continues to move in Easterly, Northeasterly direction across the Central Atlantic. This will cause the wind to gradually veer from the South-Southwest to a North-Northeasterly direction. Furthermore, relatively dry air aloft is moving across the islands, hence expect fair weather conditions to prevail through the weekend.
Sea conditions: Seas will be tranquil to moderate, 2 to 4 feet. Marine conditions will remain excellent for boating through the weekend, but are expected to deteriorate by Monday due to North-Northwesterly swells.
Special Features: There are continuous emissions of gases and ash from the Soufriere Hills volcano in Montserrat. According to the latest advisory ash clouds will be staying well South-Southeast of our area.
Outlook until Monday midday: Partly cloudy with no significant precipitation.
The next weather forecast will be issued on Saturday at 17:00 A.S.T. (21:00 U.T.C.).
