Hello - We are 2 couples traveling April 2018 to St Barts. We all have never been to St Barts and want to check it off our vacation list!   We found quite a few villas within our small budget, we are truly on a budget and are a little worried that the upscale reputation will steer us away from most restaurants and beach bars.  Where can I find a list of all restaurants with a "key" to prices?  Suggestions?  Thank you!

What you're asking for doesn't exist.  There's a comprehensive restaurant list, but no key to prices.  Here's a link to a website with a small list of restaurants, with menus and pricing for some.

If you're looking to keep costs down then the key is to eat where the locals eat.  For places on the beach, look at O'Corail and La Gloriette in Grand Cul de Sac.  In Gustavia look at La Cantina, Le Select, Eddy's, Le Creperie, and Le Vietnam.  In Colombier, look at Les Bananiers.  In St Jean, Le Piment and Hideaway.

Are you on Facebook?  Look at the daily Le News St Barth newspaper there, which will have some specials and events posted.  Also look at the Menu St Barth page, which will have daily lunch specials listed for a number of restaurants, both in Gustavia and around the island.

You'll want to order a bottle of water for the table for your meals, as on a dry island it isn't offered gratis.
